Volunteering with the BCP
Do you want work that is meaningful and makes a difference in the world? Are you wanting a change? The Bali Children's Project welcomes volunteers who are independent and adaptable, self-motivated and energetic. We particularly welcome those with special skills and who are able to stay for a prolonged visit Experienced teachers, particularly those with ESL and Montessori training are always in demand, as are health and dental professionals. For such volunteers we can provide an introduction to Balinese culture and to the Indonesian language. We can also arrange placements in suitable schools etc., and continue to provide on-going support. In addition we can help in finding accommodation, which can be either with a local Balinese family or in one of the BCP houses.
Unlike some other volunteer programs in Bali, the BCP makes no charges (although donations are always welcome!). Naturally volunteers will be expected to pay for food and non-BCP services during their stay.
